General Terms and Conditions

Reservations –general

  • We accept booking for adults only aged from 18yrs and above
  • Valid photo ID is required upon check-in. Residents can use National Identification and Tourists are expected to use their passports. Registration will include passport/ID details.
  • All requests to reserve a room must include the first and last name of all adults occupying the room.
  • Occupancy for our double room is for two people with a single queen bed available. Three people may occupy our double room if an extra bed is requested, at a fee upon availability.
  • A cot is available upon request, subject to availability for free.

Payment and Check-in/ Check-out

  • The balance of the full apartment rental amount is payable upon booking, on either our Website, Booking.com, Agoda or Expedia prior to check-in.
  • Our check-in in starts at 12 pm and keys should be collected before 4 pm. Our check-out time lasts until 10am. 

Early / Late Check-in/ Check-out Conditions 

  • Early check in - a request needs to be sent to the reservations department upon booking to check for availability.
  • Late check-in - a request needs to be sent to the reservations department upon booking to check for availability.
  • Early Check-out – guests are to inform upon check-in their check out time for early check out instructions.
  • Late Check-out – guests are advised to rent their room for an extra day to ensure comfort before their flight. Late check out is not permitted. We have space for luggage storage, and can offer a shower if guests require the service

Extending length of stay 

  • Any request by guests to extend a booking during their stay may be charged per night a different rate that complies with the rate plan of the establishment if the room is available.

Early departure conditions

  • Only proven emergency situations or force majeure while guests are in-house, will the owner consider a refund possible for the unused days of the booking.

Change of dates

  • Guests are able to request to change dates of their booking 14 days prior to arrival at no cost.
  • To change dates less than 14 days of arrival, guests will need to contact the reservations department and provide any documentation or evidence as proof of the situation for the change. Rejection can occur due to lack of reason or evidence

Standard Booking Price

The standard booking price includes the following:

  • Utilities (water –hot/cold, electricity, gas)
  • Room air conditioning
  • A safe in the room
  • Free local calls telephone line
  • Wi-Fi and Cable TV usage
  • Towels
  • Bed Linen
  • Hand soap
  • Hairdryer
  • Kitchenware & Utensils
  • Kitchen towels
  • Kitchen appliances (rice cooker, kettle, toaster, microwave, refrigerator, a stove oven)

• Queen bed/s

• A washing machine (dryer not included)

• Iron and ironing board

  • Coffee, tea, milk, sugar, salt, pepper (provided upon check-in only)

• Small bottle of water (gift upon check-in)

• Cleaning before and after your stay

Prices and Taxes

  • Rates are subject to change
  • Rates are in accordance with Seychelles tax laws
  • Full Balance to be paid upon booking prior to arrival
  • Payment: Through Booking platforms such as Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia and through our Website.

Traveling with Minors

We have 4 Double rooms and 1 apartment available for families. The apartment has two rooms with can cater for 6 Pax due to having three queen size beds.

  • Children of any age are allowed
  • Children up to and including 3 years old can stay for free
  • Children from 4 to and including 17 years old can stay for EURO 25 per night.

Extra bed or cot

  • Infants are considered to be between 0 to 3 years old and may request for Cots for free.
  • Extra bed may be in the form at a cost of Euro 25 per day for children under 18years old and Euro 40 for adults.

Max occupancy

  • Not including infant our family room can accommodate 6 pax
  • Not including infant our standard room can accommodate 2 pax

Cancellation policy

Please read our cancellation policy carefully. Rarely can we make any exceptions to this. Our reservation office is instructed to follow this policy and its rules. Different rate plans may have different cancellation policies, please refer to them accordingly. The below is our standard rate cancellation policy.

All cancellation policies are subject to the rate plan selected by the clients

  • If the guests cancels more than 14 days prior to arrival, the total amount of the reservation will be refunded
  • If the guests cancels more less than 13 days prior to arrival, then 50 % amount of the reservation will be refunded
  • If the guest is in-house and decides to check-out prior to check-out date, the nights not spent 24 hours after cancellation occurs are 30% refunded.
  • In case of “No Show”, the total price of the reservation will be charged and is non-refundable.

Cancellation procedure

  • Cancellation request must be sent with the reservation number to cancellations@creolepearl.com addressed to the reservations agent.
  • All cancellations request will have a response from the reservations agent within 48 hours.

Room Policy

  • Please help us save energy consumption by switching off lights when not in use, and close windows and doors when the A/C unit is on.
  • Please keep the noise level low so that our other guests may also enjoy a quiet environment at Creole Pearl
  • Guests can invite two friends/family for the day over but the invited guests would have to depart by 8 pm. Any requests for more invitees, then a request needs to be sent to info@creolepearl.com
  • Pre-existing damages or room issues must be reported to the Owner or reservations agent immediately after check-in to avoid responsibility and potential charges.
  • Any damages caused by guests in-house that exceeds SCR 500 to repair or replace, the total cost will be incurred by the guests.
  • We reserve the right to inspect rooms at check out.
  • We would like to offer our guests quiet time on their vacation to rest. Hence we apply a hush time from 8 pm to 8 am

Kitchen rules

  • Guests are advised to practice safe cooking habits, and to ensure burners are not left unattended.
  • Please keep dishes clean and use the waste disposal bins provided.

Room Cleaning

  • Rooms are cleaned and refreshed every 2 days after check in for stays over 4 nights. This will include towels and linens replaced with fresh ones.
  • As a Self Catering, guests are requested to keep their accommodation tidy.
  • We offer refreshes every other two days, any request for cleaning between refreshes are subject to a fee of Euro 10.00 per clean.

Events

  • The Owner can create special events, such as a creole night.
  • We may be able to host special events. These events my host up to 15 people. Noise will have to be at an acceptable level that the owner will tolerate. This would ensure our neighbours and other guests are not overly disturbed during the event.

Accessibility or Special Needs

  • Guests are advised to contact us for elderly or disabled before making their booking at info@creolepearl.com
  • We only have one room that could accommodate people with special needs.

Guest Safety

  • Fire safety equipment in all rooms and on property
  • Cameras are used in certain areas to ensure safety for our guests.

Confidentiality

  • Guests can be assured that their personal information captured at check in is only to be used for Audits and shall not be shared with any other third party.
  • Information captured in our reservation system may be used for marketing purposes during promotions directly to our guests; any third party that does not include our marketing tools shall not use this information.

Lost things

  • Non-perishable things left behind will be held by us for 6 months and then distributed to charity if not collected.
  • If something left behind is known to belong to our guests, we will contact the guests with the contact details provided. The guests will make provision if they need any object to be sent to them directly.

Dispute Resolution/ Problems

  • Guests are expected to bring any issues that might affect their stay with us to complaints@creolepearl.com Otherwise guests are advised to call or WhatsApp (00248) 2525 424 So that we can do our best to solve the issue to the best of our abilities.

We aim to provide a pleasant environment for our guests to enjoy their vacation.

Parking

  • We do not liable for damages to any vehicle parked on our property.
  • We provide CCTV camera coverage for the parking lot, which the video can be used by the guests if requested.

Smoking

  • Guests are not allowed to smoke in our rooms but may do so in open areas on the property.

Alcohol use

  • We encourage our guests to drink in moderation to ensure not to disturb our other guests.

Pets

  • No pets allowed

Host powers

Immediate termination of the rental agreement is possible if:

  1. More guests stayed over than those that checked in
  2. Guests are causing excessive disturbance
  3. Guests are causing or acting with violence
  4. Guests have caused excessive damage on the property
  5. Guests are showing unacceptable behaviours
